Foos Gone Wild San Diego Concert reviews
An energetic performance
Last week we went to Westgate Hotel & Casino, off-strip, and it was worth it. There were lots of kids coming out, cheerleading event?, so it seemed to be a kid-friendly facility including an arcade. Free parking! The show had ENERGY and enthusiasm, some corny jokes, and encouraged the crowd to clap, move, stand up, and dance! 3 guys + 1 woman. Every seat in this small cabaret is a good one, at least in the lower level. Seating: 4 seats around each small table. The last row had stools. Don’t miss the surprises from Big Mo! They sang songs by the Temptations, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye (wish there more of his), Gladys Knight & The Pips, Four Tops, Smokey Robinson, Whitney Houston (I Will Always Love You), Stevie Wonder, and even a few non-Motown songs like “September” by EWF. But NO songs by the Jackson Five or Michael Jackson, big disappointment. Especially since they had photos of them on the stage props. The 90-minute show by a hard-working grooving cover group.
